«PERSONALITY⋅ » ──────»A'murr is fairly outgoing and handles things with an ease about her that can easily be described as playful. She is fairly tenacious and straightforward, and can sometimes forget to heed personal space due to her being unaccustomed to the social graces of cultures outside of her tribe.She is naturally curious and quick-witted, who can never seem to quell her desire to experience something new. A'murr can come across as flippant, but she is actually very observant. She is also fairly headstrong and will stand her ground for something she believes in, even if it physically or mentally hurts her.She is reliant on physical affection and touch more so than verbal conversation. Despite her fair looks, she does not present herself as a damsel or overly feminine in demeanor and has no real concept of her beauty. Due to her upbringing in a secluded nomad tribe, she is naturally tuned into a more traditional way of life but has been adjusting based on her current position in the world.«CURRENT LIFE⋅ » ──────»
A'murr busies herself around Lower La Noscea and Eastern La Noscea. She enjoys keeping busy and will commonly be out assisting the locals in the orchards, as well as in the fields where they grow Althyk Lavender and various other crops. Many of the locals let her take home blooms, where she makes flowering tea, gifting it to friends and interested patrons.She also collects flower seeds to plant in her gardens, which she's cultivated large enough to be able to open and run a small flower shop. Out of habit and a subconscious stress reliever, she is adept at creating flowering tea but refuses to sell it for profit. Her brother has turned the basement into a small cafe where he freely provides her flowering tea to those would like to seek or experience it due to the volume in which she makes the bundles.A'murr can also be found wandering the city-state of Limsa Lominsa, mainly perusing the markets for any fresh and foreign foods. She also makes house calls for light ailments such as headaches, migraines and minor aches due to her affinity for magick. Though she can still summon her arcane magicks, she has realized she can draw forth a bit of healing as well. Her patrons generally find her presence calming due to the gentle scent of lavender that clings to her skin.She endeavors to travel the world.

HISTORY


A'murr was born on the 11th Sun of the 6th Umbral Moon, with the blessing of Althyk and the goddess Azeyma. She was the last born and youngest of twelve from the tribes currently acting Nuhn, who was now no longer able to sire more babes. She was considered the runt of his legacy, but it quickly became very apparent that she became a favorite of his because of how much she took after him in image and personality. She was also a chosen to carry on the tribes sigils. Because of this, she occurred the scorn of her sisters and by association, the tribes younger huntresses.Her mother, having been one of the most revered huntresses in the tribe, turned a blind eye to her youngest, instead focusing solely on her responsibilities and her elder daughters, who more closely aligned with her. Much of A'murr's adolescence was filled with bruises and neglect from the other females and more often than not, she'd return home to find her eldest brother and father waiting for her, bandages in hand. Much of her upbringing came from the two males and she adored them greatly. Her brother had been her only friend and ally, often watching out for her and reporting back to their father of the days harsh trainings. Nothing much could be done about the females however, and A'murr continued to endure their harsh lessons and trainings, working harder and harder to overcome any limitations placed on her. This included her studies with the tribe's revered shaman, who pushed her arcane magicks to the limit to suit their own desires.More often than not, it was common for her to disappear from many of her tribes functions outside of traditional ceremonies where she was required to dance and provide blessing. Much of her days were spent being out in the wilds, upon the cliffs and deep into vast fields, being caught by her brother A'kyhe and her love interest, a Tia named M'shoyo Tia whom was best friends with her brother. Both males vied to be next in succession to their tribe. Their rapport with one another was perceived to be in good standing as the two were like rivals and comrades.Her father too, would sometimes come find her himself, worried that her wild spirit would attract unwanted attention from the occupied Garleans or subjugated Ala Mhigans to their current home, as well as knowing that if she strayed too far, the sigils would burn painfully until she returned. Those times where she was caught by her father himself (though unaware of the arcane danger), she loved the most, because his seriousness would fade like the setting sun and he would show a side that was so playfully similar to her own (the opposite way around of course) and either tell her stories of his youth or teach her the ways of life as he knew it best.Upon the bitter defeat of M'shoyo, and her brother's succession as the next Nuhn, M'shoyo oddly disappeared. A fortnight later on A'murr's 18th nameday, while out on a hunt with her father, M'shoyo along with a few rogue Ala Mhigans and a couple of Garlean soldiers, ambushed the two of them. A'murr attempted to protect them as she was taught but was drawn beyond the boundary the shaman had placed on her, painfully incapacitating her. After being notified by the shaman, the huntresses in the area quickly caught up and fought to defend their home and kin but because of the advancement and brutality of Garlean technology, they were quickly and mercilessly cut down.In the foray, crawling in agony on the ground, A'murr was struck by a kilij that managed to slice deeply from her left shoulder to the blade, but was temporarily rescued by M'shoyo who then attempted to rip her away from the fighting to accomplish what he originally had set out to do (abduct her with the knowledge that he wouldnt let the tribe use her any longer). However, the Garlean and Ala Mhigan mercenaries had taken back their terms of the deal with M'shoyo and mercilessly murdered him in front of A'murr. Because she was not as strong or fierce as her sisters, the Ala Mhigans bargained with the Garleans, who allowed them to abduct her themselves in hopes of obtaining a good sum of coin in selling her off to traffickers. Having witnessed from the shadows, her brother sought to follow the men, but it was useless - he sustained life threatening injuries and was thrown in the now crimson river, where A'murr assumed he perished.A'murr, after having taken her own injury, realized that it had sliced through the sigil on her back, cutting off most of her ability to call forth the arcanma magicks. She quickly found herself subjected to Ala Mhigan traffickers and a traumatizing experience across the Sea of Jade and Ash. The smugglers also sought pleasure in tormenting her, mocking her pretty face and uncouth nature, greedy for the coin she would bring in because of how unbroken and fiery she was. It was during that time she came to learn of other races that inhabited the continent and that the world was much larger than she could even fathom.Two years later, an unnamed buyer purchased her and she was shipped off to the coastal city-state of Limsa Lominsa where she found herself alone in a quaint cottage on the beach, supposedly owned by her benefactor. Through time, she learned to heal as her tenacity to live on was strong. Her mysterious buyer however, revealed himself to be none other than her thought to be deceased brother. Together they strived to heal and start a new life.

TRIBE


A'murr's tribe was created as a sub-branch of the main Seeker of the Sun, Antelope (A) tribe. An acting Nuhn of eld, whom did not wish to share ruling, but did not wish to go against their traditions, branched off along with a group loyal to him. The group then became nomads of an already established tribe, however now vastly dissociated. This tribe now resides in Ala Ghiri (The Peaks) and bends and shifts as needed to avoid Garlean detection, as well as follow migration patterns for food and water supply. Only a dedicated few individuals are allowed to leave the tribe in order to pick up any necessary supplies they cannot find or make themselves. Those who attempt to follow them back however, are generally met with a swift death.This tribe however, has dealings with arcanima that some would consider inhumane. Each generation, a child would be born that would be chosen to bear their sigils of protection and binding. The acting shaman (a lineage continued from expelled arcanists who dabbled in this darker side of summoning) would use this summoning magick to erect a barrier around their tribe, at the cost of the childs aether. The child themselves, would be educated in the studies of arcanima so that they too could create barriers at will - all to shield their tribe from outsiders and enemies. Over generations, some of the chosen would learn offensive magicks as well, at even greater costs. Unaware, some where unable to return to the lifestream to be reborn, not a trace of their soul left.

A'murr is primarily a personal/private-world build and story character. You will generally not find her in open-world RP (apologies!) outside of observing events, unless I'm comfortable with the space to insert her without her being OOC.TRIBE:
A'murr's tribe would likely shun and blame her for the death of their Nuhn and how she failed to protect their legacy, so she has no desire to remain if she found or ran into them again. But she would be incredibly interested to find like-minded tribal types.TRAVELING:
A’murr was originally “semi-locked” to Limsa and La Noscea due to her lack of understanding of the world. She has a strong desire to leave and explore the world now that she is free, whether it be for adventure, sightseeing or to make her way back home to Gyr Abania for closure. She has a severe fear of ships and open water so it might take some time for her to overcome this, perhaps one could help her with this.MARKSMANSHIP/TUSSLING:
A’murr loves competition and tussling. It reminds her of her life back home where she tried to keep up with the huntresses and Tia's. She’s very adept to using hand-to-hand style combat as well as short-bow archery but is always looking to grow (or endure a good throw-down).A FRIEND IN NEED:
A'murr, above all, is social and generally always moving in some capacity. She thoroughly enjoys helping others and can be found assisting older shop keepers or patrons where she can. You'd not be surprised to see her lugging around bags or baskets for older members of society.FLOWERS:
A'murr goes out of her way to accumulate and grow a wide variety of flowers in her gardens. She is adept at bundling flowering tea and will most often found gifting her teas to friends and patrons. It is not uncommon to find a small bag with a delicately tied strand of flowers waiting at ones door. She does not market this trade and instead provides out of good-will.HEALING:
- Aether sensitive.
She has picked up a bit of healing magicks and can perform small scale endeavors like cultivating/coaxing life into her gardens (an unconscious trait). She has grown accustomed to healing headaches, migraines and small muscle or bone aches/pains.ARCANE MAGICK:
A'murr can still call forth summoning barriers through the sigils on her back, though due to scarring, it's difficult and is only used in what she'd consider emergencies (at great cost to her energy). Her brother forbids her from using it at all, yet at the same time will not revel the truth to her. (Her barriers are similar to Rakan from LoL and are even the same orange color instead of the typical aether blue they should be)OTHER:
- She has an aversion to Garlean tech and weaponry. The unnaturalness of their tech hurts her ears.
- She used to be a ceremonial dancer in her tribe (Fire dancing/Poi) so you may catch a rare show on the beach.
- She loves to exercise, climb and (basically) parkour and can be found scaling cliffs out in La Noscea.
- She can’t swim and has lingering PTSD of the sea/open water.
- Her tribe was very open to skin-ship and things like personal space or nudity wasn’t anything to be shocked about. While she won’t just take off her clothes in front of someone randomly, she can lack social appropriateness and cues. It's not uncommon for her to sleep shirtless and lean heavily on physical touch/skinship (without sexual inclination).

I am EST timezone! my availability is generally evenings.
I don't prefer 'real-time' RP but can do my best, and like to flesh out descriptive writing. My roots based around writing stories between characters on platforms and forums. Discord RP is fine for me as well. I'm also really looking for others to help me gain confidence/learn.
I have never participated or engaged in D&D so I've actually never had experience with dice rolling terminology/stats etc.
I will not RP with others who tell me or my character what to do, say or think outside of my own control to fit their own agendas (or otherwise not agreed upon). Headcanoning first is the best!
IC and OOC should always be kept separate.
I try and avoid WU/T unless it's to headcanon, I think its important to see if our characters are compatible first before diving in blind.
